FAQs
-
The main QAC 2027 conference will be held in Sydney on 17–18 February 2027, with pre-conference and wrap-around activities commencing on 16 February. An optional Canberra Extension Day will take place on 19 February, focused on policy, partnership and national capability.
-
The main QAC exhibition and sponsor booths will be in Sydney. Gold Sponsors and above will also have the opportunity to opt in to one of a limited number of exhibition spaces in Canberra on 19 February. We currently expect some limited spaces (approx 10), provided as a trestle table and chairs, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Gold and Silver sponsorship include a 3m × 3m exhibition space (shell scheme) with basic furniture, including a trestle table, chairs and power. More bespoke exhibition builds can be arranged at the sponsor's additional cost.
-
Yes. Silver includes a standard 3m × 3m exhibition space (shell scheme) with basic furniture, including a trestle table, chairs and power.
-
Yes. The prices shown in the current QAC 2027 sponsorship prospectus are the current sponsorship prices and are in Australian dollars, excluding GST.
-
Yes. Gold sponsorship is currently available, with strong early interest at this level. As availability is limited, organisations considering Gold are encouraged to confirm their interest early.
Gold sponsorship also includes the opportunity for a panellist position or to introduce a session, subject to availability, programme fit and agreement with the QAC 2027 Programming Committee. The programme is now taking shape and speaker invitations are actively progressing, so early confirmation gives us the best opportunity to explore where an organisation's expertise could genuinely add value to the programme.
-
QAC is being designed with significant time for networking, relationship-building and business connections. This includes the Sydney Harbour Cruise on 16 February, dedicated networking and exhibition time throughout the Sydney conference on 17–18 February, and the Conference Dinner on 17 February.
We are also developing more curated opportunities to connect industry leaders, quantum companies, investors and international delegates. We welcome conversations with sponsors about the people and organisations they would most value meeting, so we can explore relevant opportunities as the programme develops. -
Yes. We are currently seeking a $30,000 Sydney Harbour Cruise partner for the pre-conference networking cruise on 16 February, expected to bring together approximately 200 delegates for 2.5 hours. Individual Cruise tickets are currently priced at $165.
-
Potentially, yes. An organisation may take a standard sponsorship package alongside an existing QAC product or activation where available. We can discuss the most appropriate combination. This does not mean package benefits or pricing are automatically negotiable.
-
We are open to considering joint activations where there is a strong strategic fit. These need to be discussed with Quantum Australia first because they may involve another organisation's sponsorship rights, existing relationship or activation plans. Nothing should be committed until all relevant parties have agreed.
-
Once the package and benefits are agreed, the conference organiser will prepare the sponsorship agreement and invoice. Standard payment terms are 15 days from invoice, following execution of the agreement. Specific procurement requirements can be discussed where necessary. Cancellation provisions will be included in the sponsorship agreement.
-
No. Sponsorship prices are quoted in Australian dollars and exclude GST. For overseas/non-resident entities, the applicable GST treatment should be confirmed before the agreement is finalised.
-
Gold+ sponsors may have the opportunity for meaningful programme engagement where there is a genuine programme fit, including possible panel participation or alignment with a relevant session. These opportunities are subject to availability and approval by the QAC 2027 Programming Committee and should not be regarded as automatic or guaranteed speaking entitlements.
The Committee is actively developing sessions and progressing speaker invitations now, so the number of programme opportunities will reduce as positions are filled. We encourage interested sponsors to speak with us early so we can explore where their expertise could genuinely add value while suitable opportunities remain.
-
Yes. We welcome suggestions, particularly where the proposed speaker brings genuine expertise, an industry/customer perspective or insight relevant to the programme. Sponsors are encouraged to discuss potential contributions with the QAC team, and speakers may also submit through the QAC 2027 Speaker EOI. Sponsorship does not guarantee programme selection, with all speaking participation subject to review by the QAC 2027 Programming Committee.
-
The high-level QAC 2027 programme is now available, with the Programming Committee actively progressing speakers and detailed session development. Speakers, session details and formats will continue to be announced as they are confirmed.
Potential sponsors are encouraged to discuss relevant areas of expertise with us early, as programme opportunities will become more limited as speaker invitations progress.
-
QAC 2027 is particularly interested in genuine industry and end-user voices. This includes organisations already exploring or adopting quantum, as well as those assessing whether and when it could become relevant to them. We want candid perspectives on business problems, barriers to adoption, investment decisions and what quantum would need to prove to earn enterprise commitment.
-
Yes. The Quantum Future Talent Careers Fair will take place during the Sydney conference on 17 February and is being designed to connect employers with students, PhD candidates and early-career quantum talent. Further details on participation and associated opportunities will be released as planning progresses. Organisations interested in talent engagement are encouraged to register their interest.
-
Yes. Gold Sponsors and above will have the opportunity to opt in to one of a limited number of exhibition spaces during the Canberra Extension Day on 19 February. We currently expect up to 10 spaces, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Canberra is being designed around policy, partnership and national capability, rather than replicating the main Sydney exhibition, so the format will be smaller and more focused.
-
The Conference Dinner will take place on 17 February following the first day of the Sydney conference. Individual Dinner tickets are $285 and include a three-course dinner. Separate partnership opportunities are available, including the principal Dinner Sponsorship, Dessert and Networking Sponsorship, and the opportunity to sponsor a table of 10.
